Allergy Asthma

Asthma Information

Asthma information can be found in many places not least of all on the Internet. Following the last post Cause of Asthma, where we looked at several possible causes of allergy asthma, here we’ll take some more general allergy asthma information.

Generally, allergy asthma sufferers have been plagues with the typical shortness of breath and frequent breathing difficulties associated with the onset of what is commonly called an “asthma attack” for most of their lives.

Asthma affects a growing number of the population in direct proportion to the continual and relentless introduction of ever more potent pesticides, herbicides and fungicides on our farmed crops in conjunction with in increased use of antibiotics, growth hormones, steroids and other nasties on farmed meat products (which is a nice way of saying living breathing farm animals that we eat).

That notwithstanding, historically we know that the majority of allergy asthma sufferers are diagnosed with the condition very early in life. Some children “grow out of it” while others grow up with the condition that grows with them.

There are many medical treatments available to allergy asthma sufferers, which generally include inhalers that use medicines of various types that have been discussed in an earlier article.
